the @pee_zombie Twitter archive, 2020–2025

I'm Eugene Dobry, a software engineer in New York. Starting in August 2020 I posted as @pee_zombie, an alt I made to fit in with a corner of Twitter that thought out loud about minds, software, memetics, autism and how to live. It ran to 22,549 tweets, more than half of them in 2021. This site is that archive, put back together.

Most of it was written as threads that quote each other, so this site renders it as the web it already was. Below are the trailheads: the threads worth starting from, grouped by theme and ranked by how developed they are rather than by likes. Open one and the reader lays it out as an essay. Click a quoted tweet inside it and the thread it points at opens alongside, so you can follow a line of thought the way it was built. The weave collects every tweet that touches a concept, stray one-liners included; the web draws the whole quote graph; search covers the same tweets as the weave.

The account went quiet in 2025. These days I'm building Minsky, an environment for coding agents to work inside; a good deal of what these threads say about extending a mind with tools ended up in it. Everything here is verbatim, typos and all. The titles, themes and grades are mine, added afterwards.

Every time a concept comes up, anywhere in the corpus — megathread, riff, or single stray tweet. Select several to intersect: cybernetics ∩ autism is a real question here.
